Mantra Mantra Mantra
I’ve been thinking about mantras lately and the power of speaking what we desire into existence. I personally have experienced the benefit of having a mantra and have also seen mantras benefit my clients!
What is a mantra? A mantra is simply a word or phrase that you repeat with intention. It comes from Hindu and Buddhist traditions and is often used as a mindfulness tool. Mantras can help calm your mind, bring focus, and support things like wisdom, manifestation, or spiritual growth.
For example, a client may have a belief that everything is going wrong for them, that nothing they want will ever come to fruition, or that they are undeserving of good things. A powerful mantra for this internalized belief could be: “I am worthy of good things. Life is always changing, and new possibilities are opening for me.”
Reciting mantras is a way to become mindful, uncover your true desires, and become aware of what internalized beliefs may be keeping you stuck.
It might feel simple or even a little silly at first but sticking with a mantra and repeating it to yourself consistently each day can create the change you’re looking for!
See examples below of some situations you may find yourself in and some mantras you can incorporate into your daily life:
Looking for friendships and feeling lonely:
“I am open to meaningful connections, and the right people are finding their way into my life.”
Desiring a romantic relationship and feeling disappointed:
“Love flows to me in the right time and the right way. I am already whole and worthy of love.”
Wanting financial freedom and feeling trapped:
“Abundance is available to me. Each step I take moves me closer to stability and freedom.”
Struggling with self-worth and feeling undeserving:
“I am enough as I am. Good things are meant for me, too.”
Facing setbacks and feeling hopeless:
“Challenges are temporary. I have the strength and resilience to rise again.”
Wanting change but feeling stuck:
“I trust myself to make small steps forward. Even slow progress is still progress.”
